We control this 130 acre site by means of an Option Agreement.
Aylesbury is a location for substantial growth within the emerging Regional Strategy and we have supported and sought to enhance that designation. The District Council is progressing its Local Development Framework. This land, along with other land to the south of the town, has been proposed as the Preferred Option to accommodate over 9,000 dwellings in a mixed use scheme. We are working with other developers including Bovis, Redrow Homes and Gleeson to bring the site forward. Following consultation on the “Preferred Option”, the Council has decided to consider two further options both of which include our land. We anticipate submitting an application in 2009/10. |
