We control this land by means of a Promotional Agreement in place since 2000 together with other option agreements.
The site is in the Cambridge growth area and the Longstanton/Oakington area was selected as the location for a new settlement in both the County Structure Plan and the emerging Regional Strategy. We believe that our site is suitable as an extension to the chosen new settlement recently identified by South Cambridgeshire District Council in its Local Development Framework. We will continue to promote the site at the review of the Regional Strategy and the next Local Development Framework Review. |
