This 36 acre site is controlled by a Promotional Agreement.
We have successfully promoted Wymondham in the Regional Strategy process as a sustainable location for growth. The attractive and historic town forms part of the Norwich Policy Area which is a designated area of growth expected to accommodate 30,000 dwellings in the period to 2021 and beyond. The District Council has now commenced preparation of its Local Development Framework and has decided to allocate land for 2200 houses at Wymondham. We are fully engaged with this process and recently promoted the site at the core strategy enquiry. The result of this in anticipated in early 2011. |
