This 36 acre site is controlled by a Promotional Agreement.
We have promoted Wymondham in the Regional Strategy process as a sustainable location for growth. The attractive and historic town forms part of the Norwich Policy Area which is a designated area of growth expected to accommodate 30,000 dwellings in the period to 2021 and beyond. The District Council has now commenced preparation of its Local Development Framework and has published an “Options” Core Strategy document. This shows a range of growth at Wymondham of 2,000-4,000 dwellings. We are fully engaged with this process and believe we can achieve a development of around 150 dwellings. |
